How to organize a funeral? A few things you need to know.

Has become. The person close to us has passed away and we are left with a broken heart, empty mind and a lot to do. Where to start?

Notify the appropriate authorities of the person's death.

The procedures vary depending on where in the world you are at. You must report the death to the appropriate authorities and start certification of death. A doctor's visit will be necessary to confirm the death.

What is certain is that you will need multiple copies of death documents to complete the formalities. Also related to, for example, a bank account or telephone number.

If the deceased person has been in a hospital or nursing home, there will be people there to help you through all the procedures.

Inform family, friends and relatives of the deceased.

Do it in person or by phone. People close to you will be appreciated in this way. Inform them immediately as some will need to plan their professional affairs in order to attend the funeral.

Agree with your immediate family on how to bury the remains of the deceased. Whether you choose cremation, traditional funeral or burial.

Go to the funeral home of your choice.

After talking to your loved ones and deciding how the remains of the deceased are to be put to rest, go to the funeral home and inform the director how you want to organize the funeral. In the event that it will be a traditional funeral, use the experience of the funeral home staff, they will advise you on how to organize the ceremony.

If you choose to cremate a body, you must also book a crematorium service. After creaming the body, you will receive the ashes in a temporary urn.

Which cremation urn to choose?

Unlike a traditional coffin, we can buy it anywhere in the world.

The coffin is large and heavy, so we suggest you buy it in close proximity, while the urn can be sent by courier and will arrive from anywhere.

The material from which the urn is to be composed strictly depends on the conditions in which it will be stored. When the urn is kept at home, you can choose a wooden urn. If it will be outdoors, it must be constructed of more durable materials.

You can easily calculate the capacity of the urn in a free calculator.

Settle the affairs of the deceased person.

Sometimes death comes unexpectedly. You have to deal with the things that were the responsibility of the deceased. For example:

- take care of the animals

- secure the house

- notify the employer

- settle bills and report death of electricity, gas and other recipients

These are just examples of things to be dealt with.
